Fashion and shopping site Terminal X, owned by businessman Harel Wizel, signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to acquire 50.01% of the shares of Soho for 11 million shekels. Soho, operating in Israel since 2004, specializes in importing and distributing branded international design and lifestyle products. The company operates 12 concept stores, an e-commerce site, and wholesale distribution, employing about 100 workers. If the deal is completed, Terminal X will become the controlling shareholder of Soho, allowing it to expand its operations beyond fashion and online commerce. The memorandum sets an option mechanism allowing Terminal X to increase its holdings in the coming years, and it will be entitled to appoint most of Soho's board members. The deal is not final and is subject to conditions. This move joins previous acquisitions by Terminal X, including the makeup brand Ada Lazorgan and the sports brand Strongapol.
