Shaul Meridor from Yashar did not rule out the possibility of Religious Zionism joining a government led by Gadi Eisenkot, if it adopts his party's basic principles. In an interview with 103fm, he also attacked small parties and Netanyahu's attempt to open the budget.

Shaul Meridor, a Knesset member from the Yashar party, clarified in an interview with 103fm that his party does not rule out in advance the joining of Religious Zionism, led by Bezalel Smotrich, to a government led by Gadi Eisenkot. According to him, any Zionist-state party that meets Yashar's basic principles will be invited to join. Meridor attacked the small parties, warning that voting for a party that barely passes the electoral threshold is giving one's vote to the other side. He also harshly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attempt to open the state budget before the elections, calling it a "political spin" designed to put the opposition in a bind and obligate the next government to a plan it hasn't examined. Meridor called on Netanyahu to divert critical funds to the defense system, noting a severe shortage of personnel and resources that the Chief of Staff has been writing about for over a year.
