19-year-old from Kafr Qasim arrested on suspicion of planning an attack

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Police arrested a 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim on suspicion of planning an attack. The investigation revealed that he was influenced by the events of the Guardian of the Walls operation and the October 7 massacre, and was in advanced stages of planning. Training equipment and airsoft weapons were seized, and searches for combat guides and instructions for making explosives were found on his phone.

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the Sharon District Police of the Central District arrested an Israeli citizen, a resident of Kafr Qasim, Mustafa Issa, 19, on suspicion of planning an attack. The investigation revealed that the suspect was heavily influenced by the events of the Guardian of the Walls operation (May 2021) and the events of October 7, 2023, and the Hamas massacre, and was in advanced stages of planning an attack. At the time of his arrest, extensive training equipment and airsoft weapons were seized from his possession. His investigation revealed that he searched his mobile device for combat guides, downloaded and saved guides for making explosive devices, and even attempted to manufacture explosives from various materials and shared this with others. At the conclusion of the investigations, a prosecutor's statement was filed with the Central District Court ahead of an indictment. The Shin Bet and Israel Police stated that they view any involvement of citizens in activities that endanger state security with severity.
