Israel's Ministry of Health has issued an urgent warning, urging residents to refrain from purchasing or consuming the weight loss supplement "G-Slim." Laboratory analysis of confiscated samples revealed that the capsules contain 53.8 mg of sibutramine, a banned pharmaceutical substance known to cause severe side effects. This dosage is more than three times higher than the concentration found in similar previously banned products. The ministry reported that a young man was rushed to a medical facility after taking this supplement, complaining of chest pains and severe tachycardia. The Health Ministry reminds the public to purchase medications, vitamins, and dietary supplements only from certified points of sale—pharmacies and major chain stores—and strictly prohibits ordering medical products through dubious social media pages, messaging apps, or unlicensed websites.
