"Must go home": Bennett opposes rotation with Netanyahu
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett clarified at the Real Estate Media conference that his party will not allow a rotation with Benjamin Netanyahu, following remarks by Yoram Cohen suggesting possible cooperation with Likud. Bennett stated that Netanyahu bears personal and direct responsibility for October 7 and must go home, adding that talk of rotation distances the ability to form a stable Zionist government.
Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett clarified today (Wednesday) at the Real Estate Media conference that his party will not allow a rotation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The remarks came in response to an interview by Yoram Cohen with Channel 12 News, in which he left open the possibility of cooperation with Likud. Bennett answered a question from Attila Shompfalbi and said: "We will not allow a rotation. Netanyahu bears personal and direct responsibility for October 7 and must go home." He added that "the talk about rotation bothers me, all this discussion distances the ability to form a stable Zionist government." The comments come against the backdrop of Cohen's remarks, who said that the Yashar party led by Gadi Eisenkot does not rule out the possibility of sitting in a coalition with Likud, as long as Netanyahu does not lead the government, and that he could also cooperate with the Religious Zionism party of Bezalel Smotrich.
