"Am Yisrael" candidate pledges: We will recommend Netanyahu for prime minister

Netali Shem Tov, candidate of the "Am Yisrael" party, pledged in an interview that the party would recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister, after initially evading the question. She categorically ruled out sitting in a government under Bennett, Lieberman, or Eisenkot, and attacked Lieberman for his past cooperation with Ra'am.

In an interview on the "Pitchai and Shai" program on Channel 14, Netali Shem Tov, candidate of the "Am Yisrael" party, pledged that the party would recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister. Initially, Shem Tov evaded giving a direct answer to the hosts' question, but after pressure declared: "Here, I said it, we will recommend Netanyahu." Shem Tov categorically ruled out the possibility of sitting in a government under Avigdor Lieberman, Naftali Bennett, or Gadi Eisenkot, arguing that not every person aspiring to be prime minister is capable of forming and managing a government. She harshly attacked Lieberman, claiming he made a "grave mistake" by forming a government in cooperation with Ra'am for "political extortion," and that this option was "off the table." Later, Shem Tov called on parties that define themselves as right-wing but boycott the national camp to "come to their senses and return home." The interview took place against the backdrop of clashes between Likud and Ofer Winter.
