Yair Golan attacks Lieberman: "You're welcome to form a government with Netanyahu"

Democratic Party chairman Yair Golan attacked Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman over his remarks on the conscription law. Golan said that if Lieberman wants a government that will not draft Haredim and will not cancel the coup laws, he is welcome to form a government with Netanyahu.

Democratic Party chairman Yair Golan attacked today (Sunday) Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman following his remarks on the conscription law. Golan linked the conscription issue to the repeal of what he calls "the coup laws," and said: "If Lieberman wants a government that will not draft Haredim and will not cancel the coup laws, he is welcome to form a government with Netanyahu." Earlier, Lieberman clarified that the precondition for any conscription law is that it passes the High Court test, otherwise there is no point wasting a minute. Lieberman also said on Friday that national responsibility requires making difficult decisions and painful compromises, even on the conscription law, in order to remove Netanyahu from power. Commentator Boaz Golan raised the possibility that Lieberman is also considering a coalition with the right.
