One Zero on the shelf? Amnon Shashua considers selling control of the bank

Amnon Shashua is considering selling control of the digital bank One Zero or bringing in a new investor, at a valuation of 1.1-1.2 billion shekels. Among those interested: Meitav and Moti Ben Moshe. The bank has accumulated losses of 1.3 billion shekels but is improving results and expects profitability in 2027.

Mobileye founder Amnon Shashua is exploring the possibility of bringing a new investor into the digital bank One Zero, while also considering selling control. According to reports, Shashua is targeting a valuation of 1.1-1.2 billion shekels for the bank, and in recent weeks meetings have been held with interested parties. Among those interested: the investment house Meitav and businessman Moti Ben Moshe. The bank, founded by Marius Nacht and acquired by Shashua in 2020, has accumulated losses of about 1.3 billion shekels since its establishment. However, in the first half of 2026 the bank recorded an improvement: revenues of 66 million shekels (up 33%), expenses down 10% to 149 million shekels, and a loss of 84 million shekels – a reduction of 27%. The bank expects to become profitable during 2027, but some interested parties doubt this forecast. The article notes that an existing banking license, technology, and a customer base of about 200,000 people make the bank attractive despite the losses.
