Tomer Raab, Chairman of Bezeq Group, said at the "Seeing Beyond the Trend" conference by Globes in collaboration with Altshuler Financial that Israel is a unique economy that is hard to beat, with rapid GDP growth in the OECD and strong infrastructure. Raab noted that sophisticated foreign investors like BlackRock and Fidelity have entered the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange over the past decade, and the share of foreign investors in Bezeq has risen from 10% a decade ago to about 40% today. He addressed investor concerns about political instability and risk premium, emphasizing the need for regional stability. Regarding the cellular market, Raab described it as "beaten, problematic, having undergone many reforms" with a price of 40 shekels for an unlimited package, and called for further consolidation or deep regulatory change.
