The deputy security coordinator of the Niran settlement was detained for questioning after being filmed on Thursday pointing a weapon at settlers in the Jericho area. The incident occurred a day after Jewish families entered eight homes in the area, in a move led by the Nahala movement accompanied by the Binyamin Regional Council. Police received two reports: one about aiming a weapon, and another about actual gunfire. The suspect was questioned and released under restrictive conditions. The IDF clarified that the suspect did not act on their behalf and that he had no security authority in the area of the incident. His associates claimed he was called in following a report of a disturbance of order. The investigation continues.
