Shakuf investigation: In 43.3% of votes in the 24th Knesset, Netanyahu's opposition relied on the votes of 'terror supporters'

A Shakuf investigation reveals that in the 24th Knesset, Netanyahu's opposition voted together with Arab MKs in 43.3% of votes, including on security issues, contradicting their claim that relying on 'terror supporters' is illegitimate. The article calls on them to commit to offsetting Arab votes if they sit in the opposition in the 26th Knesset.

A Shakuf investigation using the 'How the Knesset Votes' website found that in the 24th Knesset, when Netanyahu and his partners were in the opposition, they voted together with representatives of Hadash-Ta'al or Ra'am in 43.3% of votes (1,228 out of 2,833). This is despite their claim that relying on the votes of 'terror supporters' is illegitimate. The investigation found at least 29 votes on security issues where they voted together, including against extending the Citizenship Law in July 2021 and against extending the Judea and Samaria regulations in June 2022, a move that brought down the government. The article calls on Likud, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich to commit to unilaterally offsetting Arab votes if they sit in the opposition in the 26th Knesset, in line with the principle they themselves set. So far, no response has been received.
