The anti-Israeli rapper will raise funds for an organization that justified kidnappings on 10/7

Rapper Macklemore will raise funds from his UK tour for the 'Palestinian Youth Movement', whose spokesperson praised the hostage-taking on October 7, calling it 'legitimate'. The Jewish Leadership Council warns against legitimizing violence.

Rapper Macklemore is embarking on a UK tour under the banner 'Free Palestine', with proceeds to be transferred, among others, to the 'Palestinian Youth Movement'. A spokesperson for the organization in the UK, Janine Hourani, previously praised the hostage-taking on October 7, calling it 'legitimate' and 'effective'. The movement itself described Hamas's massacres as a 'prison break'. The Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) warned that funding the organization endangers Jewish communities and legitimizes violence against them, calling on production company Live Nation to disclose security measures. The controversy comes after Macklemore was removed from an Ed Sheeran tour in the US, following his accusations of Israel committing 'genocide' and 'apartheid'.
