The father documented the acts and broadcast them via video call to a person he met online, Uri Elfi, who presented himself as a woman named 'Maria'. According to the indictment, Elfi encouraged the father to involve his children in sexual conversation and document the abuse. The father filmed his eight-year-old son naked in the bathtub and performed an indecent act on him, and later sexually abused his four-year-old son while he was sleeping, broadcasting live to Elfi. In January 2025, Elfi threatened to publish the videos if the father did not perform additional acts, but the father refused. The defense claimed manipulation by Elfi, but the court rejected the expert opinion and ruled that the father severely harmed the security and trust of his children. The victim impact report revealed emotional and behavioral difficulties in both children, and the judges expressed concern about the consequences of the disclosure in the future. In addition to the prison term, the father was given suspended sentences and ordered to pay 150,000 shekels in compensation to his children. Uri Elfi was sentenced last July to 17 years in prison.
