Reserve Major General Noam Tibon, a senior member of the "Together" party, attacked Yuval Abraham and Rachel Shor, the creators of the film "No Other Land" that won an award at the Venice Film Festival, in an interview with Walla studio. Tibon said it pained him to see them receiving applause and that he hates films made anonymously. The main criticism revolved around the film's central claim of "collateral damage of 500 people" in a single bombing. Tibon, who was responsible for investigating harm to non-combatants after Operation Protective Edge, claimed these are lies. He described the IDF attack process, including a forum that discusses the attack, matching the bomb type and impact angle according to the target's value. According to him, the State of Israel generally does not harm civilians, and in a global comparison, Israel is in a good place. Tibon added criticism of the government, claiming there is a hasbara vacuum, and that Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar deals with passports for special people instead of hasbara.
