Sharp rise in incitement against Arab society and the Druze community after the elections

A report by the organization "Fake Report" documents a 428% increase in violent speech and incitement against Arab society in accounts supporting coalition parties on the "X" platform after the elections, and a 106% increase against the Druze community, with accusations of "betrayal" and ties to Hamas.

The volume of violent speech and incitement against Arab society and the Druze community has risen sharply in accounts supporting coalition parties on the "X" platform after the Israeli elections. According to a report by the organization "Fake Report," speech against Arab society increased by 428% in the two days following the elections, and by 106% against the Druze community since election day. This speech against the Druze community reached a record high on October 30, coinciding with rumors of "election theft," where the community was accused of "betrayal" and of having ties with Hamas, and calls escalated to expel its members from the country. The CEO of "Fake Report," Nir Rosen, said the data is not surprising, and that this speech included spreading lies about election theft and questioning the legitimacy of the Arab public's vote and its connection to Hamas and the October 7 massacre. Rosen added that this is not only an attack on the Druze community but part of a broader discourse to delegitimize the election results and the voters who voted contrary to political expectations from accounts belonging to Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition parties.
