Yuval Sharvit Trabelsi, who survived the Nova massacre and was widowed from her husband Mor, turned to social media users on Wednesday with an emotional plea: not to mix politics into the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. According to her, she encountered several provocative stories, including one that said, "If you vote for... it will comfort me and my family in our loss." Sharvit Trabelsi called this "shameful exploitation" and emphasized: "This is a sacred day in memory of our fallen, not a day to mix politics. Everything can wait until tomorrow." The article recounts that just a month before the massacre, Yuval married Mor, and the two came to Nova following friends. At 6:13 AM they arrived at the party grounds, and less than half an hour later the Hamas attack began. During their escape attempt, they encountered terrorists, their car overturned, Yuval lost consciousness, and when she woke up she discovered that Mor had been shot in the head and killed. She was rescued five hours later by soldiers.
