Close friend of a terrorist who planned mass murder: The woman behind the anti-Israel decision
Lubna Spitan, a British-Palestinian activist who led the British Green Party's decision to define Zionism as racism, has been exposed as a close friend of an Al-Qaeda terrorist who planned a suicide attack at Heathrow Airport. Spitan offered to testify in his defense, described him as a quiet man with cognitive limitations, and confirmed that the connection continues.
Lubna Spitan, a British-Palestinian artist and activist from the Green Party, is behind the decision adopted this week by the party to define Zionism as "racism" and call for the establishment of a single Palestinian state in all of historic Palestine. The Telegraph newspaper revealed that Spitan is a close friend of Minh Quang Pham, an Al-Qaeda terrorist convicted in the US for planning a suicide attack at Heathrow Airport, targeting passengers from Israel and the US. According to court documents from 2015, Spitan offered to testify in his defense and described him as "a quiet, peaceful, and peace-loving person with cognitive limitations." When asked by the Telegraph if the connection continues, she replied: "Yes, that is still the case." Last June, Spitan called for "shooting Zionists like the Nazis" and claimed it would not happen without force. The party has not yet officially responded to the exposure.
