More upgrades, but for a fee: Meta unveils a new subscription service for you
Meta has launched Meta One, a monthly subscription service that bundles premium features from Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. Plans range from 25 shekels per month (Core) to 1,999 shekels (Max) for businesses. Subscriptions include AI tools, design features, priority human support, and a blue checkmark, but do not remove ads or increase organic reach.
Meta has officially launched Meta One, a monthly subscription service that unifies premium features from Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and the Meta AI assistant under one roof. The move, announced last night (Tuesday), aims to accelerate platform monetization after investing billions of dollars in AI development. The service builds on the individual plus subscriptions launched earlier this year but adds more affordable bundled packages. The basic tier, Meta One Core, is priced in Israel at 25 shekels per month ($7.99) and includes design features and expanded quotas for image and video creation. The Premium tier costs 61 shekels per month ($19.99) and is aimed at creators and heavy AI users. For business customers, Meta offers four tiers ranging from 54 shekels per month (Essential) to 1,999 shekels (Max), which include a blue checkmark, impersonation protection, and access to the Meta Business Agent. A significant advantage highlighted is priority human customer service for subscribers, a sensitive point given the wave of account blocks in Israel. However, Meta clarifies that subscriptions do not remove ads or increase organic algorithmic reach.
