Haya was arrested in Malaysia in April 2024 and transferred to the US, where the legal proceedings took place. Upon his landing in Israel, detectives from the Tel Aviv District Central Unit and Lahav 433 investigators are expected to arrest him and transfer him for questioning. One of the main cases in which he is allegedly involved is a plot to eliminate Eli Mosley. According to the indictment, following a conflict between the parties, a decision was made in the organization to harm Mosley. The plan included attaching an explosive device weighing about four kilograms to Mosley's armored vehicle in central Tel Aviv. Two cells were activated: one for intelligence gathering and surveillance, and the other for supplying means, vehicles, and the explosive device. The activity was halted in an operation by the Tel Aviv District Central Unit. The conflict also included attacks in the opposite direction, and in an indictment against Yossi Mosley, it is alleged that his men threw a fragmentation grenade near the apartment of a person identified with Haya's group. The police attribute importance to the testimonies of state witnesses and the investigation materials collected during his time abroad.
