Shaul Meridor, a senior member of Gadi Eisenkot's 'Yashar!' party, was interviewed this evening on the 103FM radio program opposite hosts Eli Ohana and Barak Seri. Meridor was asked about the latest election polls but refused to be impressed by them, saying the only relevant poll is the one on October 27. Eli Ohana countered that the opposition campaign is based on publications that have been proven incorrect. Meridor sharply attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of personal responsibility for the October 7 disaster, evading the truth for three years, and leading the country to international isolation. He claimed Netanyahu wants to stay in power to continue evading. Meridor expressed confidence that the opposition bloc will form a Zionist government with a majority of 61 seats, and that Eisenkot is the only one who can return Israel to a Jewish, democratic, and liberal path. Barak Seri estimated that the Arab parties will win 15-17 seats.
