Donald Trump officially declared: The date Iran should fear
US President Donald Trump stated in an official tweet that the US will not attack Iran before the midterm elections on November 3. The tweet comes amid reports of Pentagon preparations to resume hostilities, alongside an attack on an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
US President Donald Trump tweeted this evening (Thursday) a significant clarification regarding the military confrontation with Iran, declaring that "we will not attack Iran at any point before the midterm elections to be held in the United States on November 3." In the tweet, Trump described Iran's situation as "very bad" economically and militarily, noting that the naval blockade remains in full effect, but oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz at record volumes of 22 million barrels in the last 24 hours. The tweet comes amid a report by Barak Ravid of Axios, stating that the Pentagon has instructed US Central Command (CENTCOM) to complete preparations for resuming significant hostilities in Iran, although no deadline has been set and the president has not yet made a final decision. Meanwhile, a giant VLCC oil tanker caught fire in the Gulf of Oman, about 30 nautical miles east of Fujairah, in the second attack on a tanker in the area within less than 12 hours, amid the most severe wave of attacks on shipping in the Gulf since the outbreak of the war with Iran.
