Palestinian medical sources reported the martyrdom of 4 citizens on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. Two citizens were martyred in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle near the Jordanian field hospital on Al-Sina'a Street southwest of Gaza City. Medical sources also announced the martyrdom of young man Ahmed Khamis Abu Naja' due to wounds he sustained a week earlier in an Israeli strike on the Nuseirat camp in the central Strip. In a separate incident, citizen Ahlam Shaaban Mubarak (30 years old) was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the vicinity of the Al-Khazandar station northwest of Gaza City. Several citizens were injured, some seriously, following an occupation aircraft strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Egyptian camp in the Al-Tawam area northwest of the city. These violations coincided with continued airstrikes, artillery shelling, and demolition operations in various areas of the Strip, where occupation vehicles opened heavy fire east of the Jabalia camp northwards towards shelters, especially the Central and Joint "B" schools, in addition to targeting homes and tents of the displaced. Artillery also shelled areas east of Gaza City and the Al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of the city, and areas northeast of the Bureij camp in the central Strip. In the south, the occupation army carried out two demolition operations of buildings and homes northeast of Khan Younis, concurrent with heavy fire from vehicles and tanks east and south of the city and east of Hamad City.
