The Israeli vocal project Voca People is returning to the Israeli stage with an anniversary tour marking the ensemble's 20th year. Over two decades the group has given thousands of performances in 50 countries, drawing around three million spectators — from Tokyo to Broadway. The show is built around eight vocalists who imitate an orchestra, a choir and a rhythm section with their voices, without a single instrument on stage. The current program includes more than 100 famous hits from various years in original vocal arrangements. The project's creators are director Lior Kalfon and composer Shai Fishman. The production in New York was awarded the Lucille Lortel Award. The anniversary tour opens on October 14 in Airport City and runs until December 19, covering 11 cities in Israel. The concerts are organized by the toMix group.
