Two-week-old baby apparently accidentally crushed by parents – dies

The incident began at 08:37, when a report was received at the MDA 101 emergency dispatch center in the Asher district. Medics and paramedics who were rushed to the scene found the baby in critical condition and began resuscitation efforts including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication administration. United Hatzalah teams who arrived at the family's home also participated in efforts to save his life. The baby was urgently evacuated to the trauma room while continuing advanced resuscitation, but ultimately doctors were forced to pronounce his death. The exact circumstances of the incident are still being investigated, and at this stage it is only a preliminary assessment.
