Green Party congressional candidate in the US, Matthew Arndt from Wisconsin, was arrested on suspicion of a hate crime after being recorded verbally attacking an Israeli father driving his young son to school. The incident occurred on Thursday morning in Menomonee Falls, a suburb of Milwaukee. Arndt tailgated the Israeli's car, which had a sticker with an Israeli flag and the text "F*** Hamas," overtook him and cursed Israel and Jews while shouting "Free Palestine." The father, who has lived in the US for 12 years and grew up in a community that lost over 100 people in the October 7 massacre, followed Arndt to a gas station and documented the confrontation. Arndt, 54, an accountant and investment advisor, apologized for his behavior but claimed his message remains unchanged. His party condemned the behavior. No indictment has been filed yet.
