Report: 7 attacks by the occupation and settlers on farmers in four West Bank governorates

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented seven attacks by occupation forces and settlers on farmers in four West Bank governorates, including land leveling, uprooting trees, demolishing agricultural structures, and arresting citizens during olive picking.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented on Wednesday seven attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in four West Bank governorates, targeting farmers and their agricultural lands and property. The commission, in a report carried by the Wafa news agency, stated that the attacks recorded between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. included land leveling, uprooting fruit trees, demolishing agricultural structures, destroying water tanks, arresting citizens during olive picking, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, and releasing settler livestock into olive groves. In Jenin governorate, occupation forces began leveling agricultural land in the village of Tura. In Nablus, they arrested four citizens during olive picking in the town of Burqa. In Bethlehem, occupation forces leveled land and uprooted more than 50 olive and almond trees. In Ramallah, settlers released their livestock into olive-planted lands. The commission warned that the coincidence of leveling and uprooting with the arrest of olive pickers undermines Palestinians' ability to benefit from their lands, and called on the international community to take effective action.
