The Club, in a brief statement, confirmed that what is being circulated on this matter is incorrect, stressing that no official announcement has been issued regarding setting a date for resuming visits by families of prisoners. It clarified that there is still no development regarding the resumption of visits by the International Committee of the Red Cross to prisoners inside occupation prisons, calling for not circulating news not issued by the competent authorities. It affirmed that any update regarding the resumption of visits will be officially issued by the relevant institutions and authorities as soon as confirmed information is available. Since the Israeli genocide on Gaza in October 2023, the occupation authorities have prevented visits to Palestinian prisoners, tightened their detention conditions and daily lives, and deprived them of food, medicine, and healthcare.
