The IDF eliminated Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk, a commander in Hamas's military wing, in the Khan Younis area two days ago (Thursday). Bayouk was one of the terrorists who raided Israeli territory during the October 7, 2023 massacre. The IDF Spokesperson stated that in recent times, Bayouk was involved in planting explosives throughout the Gaza Strip to harm our forces, as well as advancing terror plots against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. It was further reported that he worked to increase the readiness of Hamas terrorists and rehabilitate the organization's capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The IDF noted that he was eliminated to remove the threat he posed. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
