NBA star: "Free Palestine from Hamas and Iran"
NBA star Kyle Kuzma, who previously played alongside Deni Avdija in Washington, shared a video from a pro-Palestinian protest in Mexico City and called for expanding the call for Palestinian freedom to also include freedom from Hamas and Iranian-backed terror. Kuzma wrote: "If you believe Palestinians deserve freedom, say it clearly. Freedom from Hamas too. Freedom from terror backed by Iran. Freedom from leaders who use civilians as human shields."
NBA star Kyle Kuzma, who previously played alongside Deni Avdija for the Washington Wizards, shared a video on social media platform X today (Tuesday) from a pro-Palestinian protest in Mexico City. Kuzma added a message against Hamas and Iranian terror, calling for expanding the call for Palestinian freedom to also include freedom from Hamas and terror organizations backed by Iran. He wrote: "If you believe Palestinians deserve freedom, say it clearly. Freedom from Hamas too. Freedom from terror backed by Iran. Freedom from leaders who use civilians as human shields." Kuzma later added that "compassion cannot be selective," criticizing pro-Palestinian discourse that focuses on Israel but ignores, in his view, the responsibility of Hamas and other regional actors for the plight of Palestinians. Kuzma played for three seasons alongside Deni Avdija on the Washington Wizards.
