Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continued, with targeting of residential areas and sites housing displaced persons through shelling and gunfire, along with house demolitions. Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex reported the martyrdom of a displaced person from wounds sustained on Monday in Khan Younis city, while the Civil Defense announced the martyrdom of a young man from injuries sustained in an Israeli strike targeting the Japanese neighborhood northwest of the city. Israeli naval vessels also fired shells into the sea off Gaza City and recorded similar violations off the coast of Khan Younis. The violations over the past 24 hours resulted in the martyrdom of seven displaced persons and the wounding of dozens. The Government Media Office said Israeli forces committed 5,989 violations of the ceasefire agreement since it took effect, including 753 violations during last October, leading to the martyrdom of 1,593 Palestinians and the injury of 5,748 others, in addition to the arrest of 217 people. The violations continue despite US President Donald Trump's announcement on July 31, 2026, of a "roadmap" to implement the ceasefire stages and end the war on Gaza.
