Rishon LeZion Mayor Raz Kinstlich announced that the source of the strong odor that disturbed residents in the western part of the city over the past two days has been located. The search began following reports of a gas smell, and firefighters scanned streets but found no hazardous materials. Hundreds of complaints were received by the municipality, and two residents were evacuated to Shamir-Asaf Harofeh Hospital due to shortness of breath.
