The size of the advance depends on the number of MKs in the outgoing Knesset: for each MK, a party can receive 80% of a funding unit, which amounts to 1.835 million shekels. The actual amount may be lower due to debts. Yisrael Beiteinu received 7.2 million, Religious Zionism — 8.8 million, Otzma Yehudit — 6.9 million. The Yashar party of Gadi Eisenkot received an initial advance of 3.67 million shekels, which may be increased to 18.4 million. The party of Gilad Erdan, "Akhiezer," received 2.35 million, but later Erdan announced he would not run in the elections. The final amount of funding will be determined after the vote on October 27. The situation of Kahol Lavan is considered particularly risky: according to polls, the party does not pass the threshold, but has already received 9.7 million.
