"Put an end to Zionism": The publications that led to the arrest of the Palestinian

A Palestinian from Rafat was arrested on suspicion of incitement to terrorism after praising terrorists, calling for fighting against Israel, and writing that there is a need to "put an end to Zionism." In another case, an indictment was filed against a young man from Bardala who published support for Hamas and the October 7 attack. The police announced they will continue to act against online incitement.

The police arrested a Palestinian resident of the village of Rafat on suspicion of incitement to terrorism on social networks. According to the suspicion, the suspect praised terrorists, called for confrontation and fighting against Israel, wrote that there is a need to "put an end to Zionism," called for self-sacrifice, and expressed solidarity with Saddam Hussein. He was arrested and transferred for investigation at the Binyamin police station, and at its conclusion was imprisoned. The investigation into his case continues. In parallel, a separate investigation concluded against a Palestinian in his 20s, a resident of the village of Bardala, and at its conclusion an indictment was filed against him for incitement and support for a hostile organization. According to the indictment, the defendant uploaded to his account a video composed of two segments: one showing damage to an IDF tank in the Gaza Strip with a Hamas emblem, and the second documentation from the October 7 attack showing terrorists on a burning tank and a wounded soldier being abducted. The police stated that they will continue to act against incitement and support for terrorism online.
