Finnish President Alexander Stubb wrote on X that Ukraine needs all possible support, and that its defensive struggle is in its fifth year. According to him, supporting Ukraine is a moral step and concerns the security of all of Europe, and thus Finland's security as well. Finland, which shares a long border of about 1,340 kilometers with Russia, abandoned its historic non-alignment policy and joined NATO following the Russian invasion. To date, Finland has contributed billions of euros in military, humanitarian, and economic aid. Meanwhile, Helsinki and Kyiv are advancing extensive drone cooperation, under which Finland plans to transfer about 90% of the total joint drone production to Ukraine. The defense cooperation spans five areas: naval, air, ground, cyber, and space. Zelenskyy emphasized that no genuine willingness from Moscow to end the war has been seen, and called for a strong and fair solution that will be maintained over time.
