Justice Ministry calls on October 7 victims to file disability claims

The Israeli Ministry of Justice is calling on families of the deceased and hostages, as well as released hostages and their immediate relatives, whose ability to work has decreased since October 7, 2023 due to health reasons, to file a disability claim. The application is submitted online to the insurance company. Assistance from lawyers in the ministry's legal aid department is available.

The Legal Aid Department of the Israeli Ministry of Justice has issued an appeal to those affected by the events of October 7, 2023. The department urges families of the deceased and hostages, as well as released hostages themselves and their immediate relatives, to file a disability claim. This applies to those who are not working or whose ability to work has decreased since October 7, 2023 due to health reasons. The application is submitted online to the insurance company of the family member or the returned captive. The ministry noted that assistance from lawyers in the legal aid department is also available.
