A decade of the race in memory of Shneur Khashin: "He believed in the human spirit"

Hundreds of participants are expected to take part tomorrow in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in the tenth challenge race in memory of Shneur Khashin, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in 2010. The race, initiated by the Etgarim association, will bring together hundreds of its members, and will conclude with a ceremony with the Khashin family.

Hundreds of participants are expected to take part tomorrow (Friday) in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in the challenge race in memory of Shneur Khashin, which will be held for the tenth time this year. Khashin was killed in 2010 in a hit-and-run accident while riding his bicycle as part of training for the Ironman competition. The race, which will start from Beit Shneur, will bring together hundreds of members and volunteers of the Etgarim association who participate throughout the year in the running and walking groups operated by the association across the country. At its conclusion, a ceremony will be held with the participation of Khashin's family members and close friends. The CEO of the Etgarim association, Nir Hacohen, said that the decade of the race expresses Shneur's belief in the human spirit and love of humanity. The Etgarim association, founded in 1995, works to integrate and empower children and adults with disabilities through extreme sports, and operates dedicated groups for war wounded.
