The Israeli Consulate in New York and the Israeli-American Community Organization (IAC) are protesting tonight (Saturday) the premiere of the film 'Naz'a' at the New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center. The film, which has sparked widespread public controversy and is defined as anti-Zionist, is based on anonymous testimonies of IDF soldiers and raises allegations against IDF activity in Gaza. Protest organizers claim the film ignores contradictory information and the massacre that led to the war. Outside the venue, footage from 'October 7: Testimony of the Massacre' is being screened on trucks, including documentation from Hamas terrorists' body cameras. The event features survivors of the Nova party, Rom El-Hai and Shalev Biton, as well as Younes Elgernawi, who saved dozens on the day of the massacre. The IAC has launched a petition calling for the inclusion of survivor testimonies in future screenings. Israeli Consul in New York Ofir Akunis called the filmmakers 'shameful people.' The film is expected to be screened also in the Hamptons, San Francisco, and Los Angeles near the third anniversary of the massacre.
