Idan Amidi revealed today (Wednesday) the last photo he took on his phone, the day before the October 7 massacre. The photo shows his young daughter resting on his shoulders. Amidi described that 24 hours later, his gallery was flooded with dozens of images of atrocities: burned vehicles, lifeless civilians, Kfar Aza, Be'eri, tunnels, and friends who are no more. "One day from those clear skies to three years of pain and longing," he said. Later, the singer and fighter addressed bereaved families, thanking them: "Because of you, we are here, privileged to lift our children onto our shoulders." Amidi, who was seriously wounded in the fighting in the Gaza Strip and underwent complex rehabilitation, recently returned to active reserve duty.
