From Prague to Majdanek: The Admor Rabbi Netanel Sheriki Shlita on a Prayer Journey

The Admor Rabbi Netanel Sheriki embarked on a prayer journey through Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic with dozens of disciples from the 'Tehilat Shalom' institutions. The journey included prayers at the graves of righteous figures, a visit to the Majdanek concentration camp, and prayers for the well-being of Israel, soldiers, and the wounded.

The Admor Rabbi Netanel Sheriki Shlita, head of the 'Tehilat Shalom' institutions in Netivot, embarked on a special prayer journey across Europe accompanied by over 50 disciples from the institutions. The journey passed through centers of Jewish holiness and heritage in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Poland, and included prayers at the graves of great Jewish sages: the Maharal of Prague, the Vilna Gaon, the Rema in Krakow, the Seer of Lublin, and the holy Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. At each site, prayers were offered for the salvation of the Jewish people, the safety of IDF soldiers and security forces, the healing of the wounded, and good tidings. A special moment of memory and pain was recorded on the seventh of October at the grave of the Rema in Krakow, where prayers were held for the elevation of the souls of those who fell in the Simchat Torah events. One of the most moving ceremonies was at the Majdanek extermination camp, where they commemorated the memory of the Holocaust martyrs and offered prayers for the elevation of their souls. The journey connected the graves of great Jewish sages, the memory of the Holocaust, and the current security reality.
