The exercise was attended by the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Solberg, and the Head of the Operations Division, Commissioner Danny Filo. Police Commissioner Danny Levy is expected to approve the plans tomorrow.

The Israel Police is preparing for the possibility that election day will take place under a security threat, including war, missile fire, and attacks. The police have formulated an operational work plan that includes coordination meetings, roundtables, and war games. This week, a concentrated war game was held led by the Head of the Police Operations Division, Commissioner Danny Filo, with the participation of the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Solberg. The exercise examined the possibility that security events could develop while polling stations are open. Tomorrow, Police Commissioner Danny Levy is expected to approve the operational plans. The plan includes mapping polling stations, deploying police vehicles, and instructions for evacuating the public and voting materials during an alarm. The instructions will be distributed to officers in a digital pocket notebook. Responsibility for security risk assessments lies with the military and Home Front Command, while the police will be responsible for operational aspects and securing polling stations.
