Families of hostages and those murdered in the October 7, 2023 massacre gathered today (Tuesday) in Tel Aviv for a press conference protesting the widespread use of the failure in the election campaign. The families presented a document titled "File 7/10," which they described as "Israel's strategic failure against Hamas over the past 15 years." The document is based on publicly available information published during that period. Sheli Malka-Yogev, who lost her daughter Libi Cohen-Guri at the Nova festival, said that "the mistaken concept brought Libi to burial in the ground" and accused Prime Minister Netanyahu of ignoring warnings. Einav Zangauker said that "since that cursed day, a campaign of evading responsibility has been conducted here," including lies, conspiracies, and division. The families claimed that Netanyahu's circle operated an influence mechanism to shift responsibility from him for the massacre, and that Netanyahu deliberately delayed the investigation of events.
