Feiglin: "Ready to sit under Eisenkot, Netanyahu is not a right-winger"

Moshe Feiglin, during merger talks with Yaron Zelicha, stated he does not rule out serving under Gadi Eisenkot as prime minister, adding that Netanyahu is not a right-winger. The talks collapsed, and Feiglin signed a technical agreement with Bezalel Smotrich.

Moshe Feiglin, who is placed second on the Religious Zionism-Zehut list, said during merger talks with Yaron Zelicha that he does not rule out serving under Gadi Eisenkot as prime minister. The remarks were published on the Kan News broadcast. During the negotiations in August, Feiglin was asked to outline his political red lines and replied that he does not rule out Eisenkot in exchange for the defense portfolio, adding that Netanyahu is not a true right-winger. Zelicha was pleased with the answer. The talks collapsed for other reasons, and Feiglin signed a technical agreement with Bezalel Smotrich, which includes a clause supporting Netanyahu for prime minister. The Zehut party stated that the talks included examining hypothetical scenarios and that Zelicha secretly recorded and spread half-truths.
