Yashar party chairman Gadi Eisenkot delivered a speech at the party's election rally, attended by thousands. He promised to be worthy, to look people in the eye and tell the truth, and asked for the public's trust to become Prime Minister of Israel. Eisenkot set defined goals: establishing a state commission of inquiry on the first day of the government, a national cabinet to combat crime within a week, and legislating a universal service law. He committed that within 18 months Hamas would no longer control Gaza. He appealed to Likud voters, saying Likud has strayed from the path and that Israel needs change. Eisenkot emphasized that his party must be significantly larger than Likud, otherwise there will be no change. He warned against Netanyahu's maneuvers and called on the public to go out and vote to ensure change.
