Egyptian Committee for "Palestine": Ready to Evacuate Residents of Dangerous Buildings and Push for Gaza Reconstruction

His statements came in an interview with the newspaper "Palestine," following the collapse of a multi-story residential building in Gaza City, which resulted in the deaths of 21 displaced people and dozens injured or missing. Mansour noted that the committee runs a camp in the Netzarim area spanning 38 dunams, housing about 15,000 tents, equipped with electricity, water, medical clinics, and schools. He called on residents of dangerous buildings to contact the committee for evacuation at no cost. He added that the committee received a report about the building collapse at 3 a.m. two days ago and helped evacuate dozens of people. He indicated that rescue equipment must enter the Strip to support Palestinians. He mentioned that the stricken "Saada" building had been repeatedly bombed during the war, but the shortage of shelter forced families to return to it. Civil Defense estimates indicate about 2,000 inhabited buildings are at risk of collapse in Gaza. The Government Media Office held the occupation and the international community responsible for the building's collapse.
