"Come as a Tourist": How the Mechanism for Recruiting Women into Prostitution in Israel Operated — and the Indictment
The Southern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Alexander Singer and Yaakov Mirmovich for operating a prostitution business and generating hundreds of thousands of shekels. Singer is accused of recruiting women from abroad via Telegram ads, promising high income, and instructing them to enter Israel under the guise of an organized tour. According to the indictment, one woman from Belarus was recruited, arrived in Israel, and was sent to meet a client before Singer was arrested.

According to the indictment, one woman from Belarus was recruited, arrived in Israel under the guise of an organized tour, and was sent to meet a client before Singer was arrested. Between January and August 2026, Singer earned at least 900,000 shekels from prostitution fees. The prosecution requested the forfeiture of property used to commit the offenses and seized funds.
