Sources close to the mediation efforts led by Qatar and Pakistan reported a breakthrough in the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, following the visit of the Qatari mediation delegation to Tehran last Friday. According to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, a US delegation will join the negotiations in Doha, paving the way for a return to the negotiating track after agreement on preliminary measures concerning the Iranian nuclear file, navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and financial incentives for Iran, with China and Russia as guarantors of the agreement. Meanwhile, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei confirmed that he had seen a message from US Vice President JD Vance and considered that the Americans' tone had completely changed, viewing it as a good sign. Tehran sent its seven conditions to Washington, stressing that there would be no negotiations unless those conditions were met. In response, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Trump has not made a decision on launching new strikes against Iran, preferring a diplomatic solution. Trump reiterated that the US destroyed a large part of Iran's military capabilities, but still has one or two sites to deal with. Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned against new attacks and ordered Iranian forces to respond immediately without geographical restrictions.
