Breaking the code of silence: Anonymous reporting line against protection rackets
The organization 'Ad Kan' has launched an anonymous reporting line called 'Kav Ad Kan' to combat protection rackets. The line is intended for business owners, victims of extortion, and anyone holding information about the phenomenon, while maintaining full anonymity.
The organization 'Ad Kan', which works to combat the phenomenon of protection rackets, has launched a new anonymous reporting channel called 'Kav Ad Kan'. The line is designed to allow the public to pass on information about extortion of protection money, threats, and activities related to protection rackets, while maintaining anonymity and confidentiality. The project targets four main groups: people who know business owners or citizens paying protection money; those already paying protection and seeking to exit the cycle of extortion; those facing threats or extortion attempts; and anyone holding information that could aid the fight. Yariv Ben Ami, the organization's founder, said: 'The criminals don't control only through threats, arson, and extortion. They control through silence.' The organization emphasizes that the establishment of the line does not replace the open struggle, but expands it.
