Piccolino, one of Jerusalem's most recognized and beloved institutions, will close at the end of October after 35 years of operation. The owners, the Bibi, Yazdi, and Dahan families, announced the decision in an emotional farewell post on social media, where they recounted the establishment's history, from a small family business to a life's work spanning four generations. The story of the restaurant began 35 years ago when the matriarch, Nava, opened the place. By her side stood her husband Yoska, who used to greet guests at the entrance. The family clarified that the closure is not due to hardship or a dramatic crisis: "Our love for the place hasn't ended and we haven't tired of the work. We simply feel that the time has come to rest a bit and be at home." The restaurant will continue to operate until the end of the month, and the family invites the public to come and say goodbye.
