"You are animals": Israelis kicked out of restaurant in Italy

A conflict occurred at the Jacky restaurant in the Italian town of Limone sul Garda involving Israeli tourists. According to visitor Gaut Hazan, who published her account in a Facebook group for travelers, the incident began with a request for the Wi-Fi password. In response, Hazan claims, the waiter called the Israelis "animals" and said, "You are animals, you kill childrens." Restaurant staff did not intervene but called the police. The arriving officers, according to Hazan, behaved politely and apologized to the tourists. The woman filed complaints with various authorities and published a photo of the waiter. This case is part of a series of antisemitic incidents in Italy. In July, a document came to light calling for reporting the presence of "Israelis and Zionists." The Jewish LGBT organization "Keshet" was excluded from the pride march in Rome after refusing to condemn Israel. There have also been reports of cases where Israeli tourists were required to declare disagreement with the policies of the Israeli government as a condition for accommodation.
