Gispan recounts the injury he suffered at home several months ago, which led him to come back into the light, and the period when he secluded himself at home, dedicating his time to family and grandchildren. In the interview, he reveals the background to writing one of his most iconic songs, 'When the Heart Cries', performed by Sarit Hadad. Gispan clarifies that the song was written 'during the lynching in Ramallah, not after it', and describes how he sat in front of screens watching soldiers being torn apart, wondering where the army was. According to him, the song was written in a minute, 'as if someone whispered in my ear'. Later, Gispan addresses the issue of artists expressing right-wing views publicly, stating that their number is 'fewer' than before, and that the few who do so are marked as extremists. He refuses to be deterred by the 'Bibist' label and says: 'Call me Bibist, call me whatever you want'.
